Inspired by the colors, shapes, and patterns…

Inspired by the colors, shapes, and patterns of the 50s, 60s and 70s, Susan’s works are described as both modern and retro. Her pieces are the result of joyful experimentation with texture and composition, incorporating acrylics, handmade paper assemblages and unique and whimsical collage elements.

In addition to drawing and painting, Susan’s studies included printmaking, design, and fine art metals at Millersville University in Pennsylvania.

A nationally recognized art educator, the artist leads workshops across the U.S. and on Zoom. Her work is held in private collections and has been commissioned by The Smithsonian Docent program and Nationwide Insurance.
